The Geovision GV-BX3400-4V is a network box camera featuring a 3 - 10.5mm varifocal lens and a 3 megapixel, 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The GV-BX3400-4V also features a recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at up to 30 frames per second or a recording resolution of 2048 x 1536 at up to 20 frames per second (Demo Video).
This camera will perform very well in low light scenarios with a color lux rating of 0.08 and a black / white lux rating of 0.05. For environments with no light, the Removable IR Cut Filter allows for the use of an external infrared illuminator. The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) feature combines the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed and balanced image, this is especially useful in environments with constantly changing lighting conditions.
The POE (POE 802.3af) option on this camera allows the user to run both video and power over one Cat-5 cable. Video clips and snapshots can be recorded locally using the built-in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot.
The GV-BX3400-4V includes a 32 channel central management software and is remotely viewable from PC's, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.
