PROREACT F1067 LINEAR HEAT DETECTION CABLE 88°C, PVC

The Thermocable ProReact F1067 is a digital Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable with a fixed activation temperature of 88°C. It is designed for reliable and continuous detection of overheating and fire along the entire length of the cable, making it particularly suitable for areas where conventional point heat detectors may not provide sufficient or practical coverage.

The cable consists of a twisted pair of low-resistance tri-metallic conductors protected by temperature-sensitive polymer insulation. When the temperature at any point along the cable reaches approximately 68°C, the heat-sensitive material allows the two conductors to fuse together, creating an alarm condition that can be transmitted to the fire alarm system. Once activated, the affected section of cable is non-resettable and must be replaced.

The F1065 features a flexible PVC outer coating, providing reliable protection and easy installation in standard environments. The 68°C activation version is particularly suitable for installations where the normal ambient temperature does not exceed approximately 45°C, allowing rapid response to abnormal increases in temperature while reducing the possibility of unwanted alarms.

ProReact Digital LHD cable can be used in a wide range of fire detection applications, including cable trays, warehouses and storage areas, conveyor systems, escalators, tunnels, car parks and other locations where fire risks may be difficult to monitor using conventional detectors. It can be connected to a conventional fire alarm zone or integrated into an addressable system using a suitable interface module.
