PROREACT F3050 LINEAR HEAT DETECTION CABLE PVC, 54-100°C

The Thermocable ProReact F3050 is an analogue Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable with a PVC outer sheath. It forms the sensing element of the ProReact EN Analogue / Programmable Temperature Sensing system and provides continuous temperature monitoring along the entire length of the installation.

Unlike fixed-temperature digital LHD cables, the F3050 operates in conjunction with the dedicated ProReact EN Analogue Control Unit. The control unit continuously monitors changes in the electrical resistance of the cable’s temperature-sensitive conductors and detects temperature increases along the cable. The system can be configured for different detection levels within the range of 54°C to 100°C, depending on the requirements of the installation.

A key advantage of the ProReact F3050 is that the system is resettable after an alarm condition, provided that the cable has not been exposed to temperatures exceeding its maximum recoverable temperature of 125°C. This distinguishes it from conventional single-use digital LHD cables.

The cable features a red PVC outer sheath, four internal conductors in a twisted configuration, full foil shielding and a shield drain wire. It is suitable for applications such as car parks, warehouses, cable trays, conveyor systems, industrial facilities, data centres and energy installations, where continuous linear heat detection is required.
