PROREACT A1388 ANALOGUE HEAT DETECTION SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT

The Thermocable ProReact A1388 is a complete control set for the ProReact EN Analogue Linear Heat Detection (LHD) system. It includes the ProReact EN Analogue Composite Control Unit together with the End-of-Line Unit, providing the main control and supervision interface for ProReact analogue heat detection cables.

The control unit continuously monitors the electrical resistance of the heat-sensitive cable. As the temperature around the cable increases, its resistance changes and the system can generate separate Pre-Alarm and Alarm conditions. It can also detect and distinguish between open-circuit and short-circuit faults.

The A1388 features ambient temperature compensation, dynamically adjusting alarm thresholds according to the actual operating conditions. This improves detection accuracy and helps reduce the risk of unwanted alarms. The system is also resettable, provided that the cable and associated components have not been exposed beyond their maximum recoverable temperature.

It can be integrated with both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems through a suitable interface or zone monitor. It also supports RS-485 Modbus RTU / ASCII communication, allowing integration with monitoring, automation and building management systems.
