PROREACT F3051 LINEAR HEAT DETECTION CABLE PVC, 54-100°C

The Thermocable ProReact F3051 is an analogue Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable from the ProReact Programmable Temperature Sensing range. It provides continuous temperature monitoring along the entire length of the cable and is designed for applications where reliable detection of overheating and fire is required across large or difficult-to-access areas.

Unlike fixed-temperature activation cables, the F3051 operates in conjunction with the ProReact EN Analogue Composite Control Unit. The control unit continuously monitors changes in the electrical resistance of the cable’s temperature-sensitive polymers. As the temperature increases, the resistance changes and, when an abnormal temperature rise is detected, the system can generate a Pre-Alarm or Alarm condition.

The system features ambient temperature compensation, dynamically adjusting the alarm threshold to maintain reliable detection performance and reduce the risk of unwanted alarms. Depending on the control unit settings, different detection temperatures can be selected within the range of 54°C to 100°C.

An important advantage of the system is that it is resettable following an overtemperature or fire alarm condition, provided that the cable and associated components have not been exposed to temperatures exceeding the maximum recoverable temperature of 125°C.

The F3051 features a Nylon outer sheath, providing increased resistance to mechanical stress. It is also UV stable, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, including areas exposed to direct sunlight. Its high resistance to hydrocarbons also makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments.

The ProReact F3051 can be used in applications such as industrial facilities, tunnels, car parks, cable trays and cable ducts, warehouses, conveyor systems, energy facilities, oil and gas installations, and other areas where conventional point detectors may not provide sufficient coverage.
